6-days Kilimanjaro Climb Route – Tour Program.

DAY 1: Transfer from Arusha to Mandara Huts via Gate

This is the beginning of 6-Days Kilimanjaro Climb Marangu Route Climb, From Arusha reaching at the gate you will start from 1860m to 2700m high reaching the Mandara hut, which is 8km from the gate. Taking you 3-4 hours to reach the hut where you will have overnight.

DAY 2: Trek to Horombo Huts

As soon as you finish taking your breakfast you will climb for 5-6 hours from 2700m to 3700m high through heathland climate. It is 12km from the hut reaching Horombo hut where you will have overnight.

DAY 3: Trek to Kibo Huts

Soon after breakfast you will proceed from the previous destination climbing from 3700m to 4700m through Alpine desert climate taking you 5-6 hours. This is 9km distance stopping at the Kibo hut where you will have overnight.

DAY 4: Trek to Uhuru Peak

after breakfast at the hut you will then carry on with trekking from an elevation of 4700m to 5895m reaching the peak of the mountain where you will stay for some few minutes. Then descend down to 3700m high, this makes it 6km ascending and 15km descending. You will spend 6-8 hours moving up and down through alpine climate reaching the Horombo hut where you will have overnight.

Day 5: Descend to The Park Gate

in the morning after breakfast you will drop down to the gate through montane forest climate which is at 1700m high. this will take you 4-5 hours to cover 20 km from the hut reaching the gate, where you get your trekking certificate from the authority then celebrate with your crew. Thereafter you will transfer to a hotel in town.

Day 6: Departure day: Transfer to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport B.

On this day after breakfast you will be taken to Kilimanjaro airport or to Arusha airport for a flight back home. This is the of Kilimanjaro Climb 6-Days Marangu Route.
